Ingredients

 

For 2 servings of this simple kratom pancake recipe, you will need:

  • Your regular kratom dose (consider how many pancakes you will eat, to add the correct dosage for you).
  • ½ cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar or alternative sweetener (you can use stevia for this recipe).
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 1/cup milk
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (unsalted) + ½ tbsp vegetable oil. (Alternatively, you can use 2 ½ tbsp vegetable oil)
  • 1 small egg
  • Your favorite toppings. We recommend that you use maple syrup, honey or chocolate syrup as these ingredients will help mask kratom’s taste more effectively.

 

Directions

 

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, and baking soda.
  2. Beat together the eggs and add the milk to another bowl. Then add the butter or vegetable oil and stir thoroughly.
  3. Mix all the above ingredients together until you get a uniform batter. If it seems thick, you can soften it by adding more milk.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and place a tsp of butter of olive oil on it.
  5. Add batter onto the skillet (use as much batter as you’d like, the more you use the bigger the pancakes will be).
  6. Flip the pancakes after bubbles rise to the surface and bottoms brown. This will take roughly 2-4 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle your kratom powder dose over the pancakes.
  8. Add your favorite topping and enjoy!

Please note that usually the first pancake will not come out so good, so you should adjust the heat accordingly! Also, remember to keep them away from children, as kratom is not suitable for them.
